Woman in her 30s posed as High School Teenager Student for 7 Months!!!

“A 31-woman-year old woman who posed as an East Texas high school student is getting a different kind of education – behind bars.

Charity Anne Johnson enrolled at New Life Christian School in Longview, Texas, as a 15-year-old sophomore under the false name “Charity Stevens.”
She was arrested Sunday night at an apartment after trying to give cops a fake name and birthday, Longview police told KLTV.

Like a far grimmer version of “Never Been Kissed,” in which Drew Barrymore’s adult character poses as a high school student, Johnson enrolled at the high school with a guardian, offering a birth date that would make her 15, a New Life spokesperson told KLTV.

She then started attending classes in October 2013. On Tuesday, staff finally realized her identification was fake and it had all been a ruse.
Tamica Lincoln took Johnson in after hearing her convincing sob story.
“I sympathized with her, and invited her into my home. I took her in as a child, did her hair, got her clothes and shoes…” she told KLTV.
Johnson reeled Lincoln in by telling her that she had been abused by her deceased father and mother. From then on, Lincoln essentially became her guardian, fulfilling parental duties like meeting with her 10th grade teachers.
But Lincoln and Paul Ward ultimately started to doubt Johnson’s story and alerted the cops and school.

“Teachers were crying and students were crying, and her best friend just couldn’t believe it,” Lincoln said.

New Life Christian School says students will go home with a notice explaining what happened on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lincoln has reached out to people on Facebook who Johnson once contacted – but no one wants anything to do with her.”

Bless her heart you can tell she really wanted to be a kid again, however
it should make you wonder how in the heck did the school administrators not know her real age? Do they not do thorough checks anymore?!?
