Facebook is forcing messenger app on users? Annoying!

“Facebook is betting you love talking to your Facebook friends so much that you’ll download an entirely separate app for the privilege.

In a matter of days, people will no longer be able to use the Facebook app on their iPhone or Android phone to message friends. To do so, they’ll have to download an entirely different app called Messenger, the company said Tuesday. The app has been around since 2011.

The company is in the process of notifying Facebook users of the switch, a spokesperson told The Huffington Post. Some people got an email this week asking them to download “a free app that’s faster and more reliable for everyday messaging.” On the Facebook app itself, a friendly little otter is prodding people to download Messenger.”

Some of us don’t want to waste our phone, iPad, and tablet memory
just to use two apps from Facebook. That’s kind of annoying!

Actress Skye McCole Bartusiak may have died during a seizure: Rest In Peace

Skye McCole Bartusiak, the 21-year-old actress who tragically died on Saturday, had been suffering from seizures in recent days, her mother said.

While investigators have still yet to determine a cause of death, the actress’ mother, Helen McCole Bartusiak, told CNN that Bartusiak’s boyfriend found the young woman sitting up in the bed of her garage apartment, which is adjacent to her parents’ Houston home.

“We think she had a seizure and choked and nobody was there,” Helen McCole Bartusiak said.

They called for paramedics, but it was too late. “They were working on her for 45 minutes and could not get a heartbeat,” she explained. “I’ve done CPR on that kid more than one time and it just didn’t work this time.”

Her mother also told CNN that Skye had suffered from epileptic seizures since she was a baby. The seizures disappeared for years before returning last week.”
